Explore the beauty and brilliance of plant-based cooking in your kitchen with these cookbooks that will bring you a lifetime of delicious recipes.

I don’t know if I am the only one, but as soon as musings of fall start wafting through the air I can’t wait to bust out my cookbooks and try some new recipes. It probably has something to do with the fact that all summer long I live off of fresh salads and fruit, and I simply cannot wait for my kitchen to smell of hearty stews and baked scones.

I have always loved cooking. I even worked as a chef at a farm-to-table cafe during college, which is where I really learned how to create recipes. And it’s also where I learned how to turn recipes vegan, as I was newly plant-based.

Working the early shift (5:30 am!) because I was an early riser, I came to own our daily soup and stew menus, and have since been obsessed with the likes of Carrot Ginger Bisque and African Peanut Stew.

Stirring up those fragrant pots of goodness is likely where my love for fall recipes comes from. So, as the weather is starting to cool here in Colorado I find myself reaching for my trusty cookbooks and heading back into the kitchen, especially as the holidays get near.

Whether you are newly plant-based, a veteran, or just dabbling, finding a good meat-free cookbook is key to helping you transform your kitchen and meal menus. These plant-based cookbooks are perfect to help you become a vegan cooking expert and whip up delicious recipes year-round.
