Billie Eilish wore upcycled Hodakova to the 2026 Grammy Awards along with an ICE Out pin.
Billie Eilish arrived at the 2026 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night wearing a custom outfit by Hodakova made from upcycled deadstock navy wool trousers and deadstock belts, marking one of the clearest sustainable fashion moments of music’s biggest night.
The tailored ensemble paired with a white cotton shirt that featured a playful second set of sleeves and compact accessories, underscoring Eilish’s commitment to environmentally conscious design. She also wore an “ICE Out” pin on her lapel as she stepped onto the red carpet outside the Crypto.com Arena.
Eilish, who won the award for Song of the Year for “Wildflower,” completed her look with knee socks, pumps, and a leather pouch, finding a sartorial balance between classic tailoring and material innovation that set her apart from many of her peers.
“No one is illegal on stolen land,” the singer said during her acceptance speech, before adding, “Fuck ICE.”
ICE Out Pins
The presence of “ICE Out” pins on the Grammy red carpet reflected a broader moment of political engagement that began weeks earlier. The black-and-white pins, distributed and worn in solidarity with protest movements opposing actions by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, had been visible on celebrities at the Sundance Film Festival, including Zoey Deutch, Natalie Portman, and Olivia Wilde, who spoke out against ICE’s conduct and urged delegitimizing the agency.
At the Grammys, artists including Kehlani, Finneas, Amy Allen, and Eilish were photographed wearing the “ICE Out” pins on arrivals. Justin and Hailey Bieber, making their first joint Grammy red carpet appearance in four years, also wore the alongside coordinated black ensembles, attracting attention for tying social advocacy directly to their public debut together at the event.
During the ceremony, Bad Bunny amplified the protest messaging onstage in his acceptance speech for Best Música Urbana Album, opening with the phrase “ICE Out” and calling for compassion and recognition of immigrant humanity in the face of federal immigration enforcement actions.
Organizers and activists had circulated the pins in the days leading up to the Grammys, working with celebrity representatives and encouraging participation as a form of collective advocacy against immigration policies and enforcement tactics that have drawn widespread criticism and protest.
