Hoka teams up with women’s skiwear brand Halfdays on a recycled winter shoe made with 91 percent recycled polyester, PrimaLoft insulation, and waterproof detailing, available November 14.

Hoka has joined forces with women’s skiwear brand Halfdays to launch its first-ever footwear collaboration — a winter-ready silhouette built like a puffer jacket for your feet. The limited-edition design, based on Hoka’s Kaha 2 Frost Moc, debuts November 14 and will be sold on both brands’ websites.

The design merges “performance with mountain-to-street style,” pairing Hoka’s technical expertise with Halfdays’ fashion-forward alpine aesthetic. The shoe’s upper is made from 91 percent recycled ripstop polyester and lined with PrimaLoft insulation for lightweight warmth.

A stretch-fleece collar composed of 35 percent recycled polyester adds flexibility, while a quick-toggle closure and recycled bungee lace secure the fit. A Vibram outsole and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane make the shoe snow-capable without sacrificing comfort.

The collaboration takes cues from the exaggerated quilting and padded structure of ski jackets, reinterpreting them into a sculptural silhouette designed for both winter hikes and cold-weather commutes. Available in two colorways — “Oat Milk/Spiked Cocoa” and “Amethyst/Glazed Cherry” — the palette mirrors Halfdays’ core outerwear range, designed to mix seamlessly with its seasonal apparel.

Halfdays, founded by former Olympic skier Kiley McKinnon and creative director Ariana Ferwerda, has built its reputation on technical skiwear tailored specifically to women.

Its outerwear uses recycled materials and water-resistant coatings derived from post-consumer waste. “Constructed from recycled, technical materials and designed by the best, our product is made to last and crafted from the ground up for women’s bodies,” reads the brand’s statement.

For Hoka, the partnership extends its push into lifestyle terrain while maintaining its sustainability commitments. The brand reports that its shift to recycled polyester across key lines has diverted hundreds of thousands of pounds of plastic waste from landfills and reduced carbon emissions by more than 1.9 million pounds.

The HOKA x Halfdays collaboration will be available globally on November 14.
