Jeff Bridges Reimagines the Muumuu for Modern Men

Jeff Bridges invoked The Dude on Jimmy Kimmel Live! while unveiling his new Cozy Earth collaboration — a bamboo “Muu” for men who prefer artful ease over the tangle of getting dressed.

On a recent Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance, Jeff Bridges announced a forthcoming collaboration with Cozy Earth, introducing a collection of bamboo loungewear he calls “muus.” The relaxed pieces — an abbreviation of “muumuus” — are designed for men who don’t want to bother with the tangle of getting dressed every day, especially as they age. Made sustainably from bamboo and printed with Bridges’ original artwork, the capsule merges his creative expression with Cozy Earth’s signature eco-luxury comfort.

Bridges is seen wearing the easy, robe-like design in a photo shared during his Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance. The garments drape loosely, with softened shoulders and painterly motifs that reflect Bridges’ style as both artist and storyteller. The idea is simple loungewear that carries the soul of a painting but the ease of a house dress.

Cozy Earth has become synonymous with understated luxury through its bamboo-viscose bedding and loungewear collections. The company’s textiles are celebrated for their temperature regulation, smooth finish, and sustainable sourcing practices. It describes its materials as “responsibly made” and its partnerships as “forward-thinking,” emphasizing transparency and water-efficient production.

Bridges’ connection to the project blends his art, activisim, and style. A painter, musician, and longtime advocate, he has consistently tied his creative work to a broader sense of stewardship. His relaxed philosophy — he once told The New Yorker that his guiding belief is to “let things do you” — finds a kind of wearable form here. The “muus” suggest embracing ease and awareness, bridging comfort and consciousness in equal measure.

For Cozy Earth, the partnership extends its ethos beyond the bedroom into something more experiential. The brand, which has been named to Oprah’s Favorite Things list multiple times, has helped define what sustainable luxury looks and feels like. With Bridges’ collaboration, it finds a new muse — one with paint under his fingernails and a philosophy stitched into every seam.

Before unveiling the Muu, Bridges revived one of his most iconic personas. Invoking The Dude from The Big Lebowski, the actor slipped into a familiar cardigan and sunglasses handed to him by Kimmel, offering a moment of comic wisdom amid the night’s conversation.

“Hey world, The Dude here,” he said. “Can we just all calm the f*** down? I mean, c’mon. I’m talking about, you know, all the wars, the fighting, the canceling. I mean, let’s just chill out, man. C’mon, tone it down.”

“We’re, like, at what? A nine?” he continued. “We ought to be at zero. Or zero and a half at max.

“ICE?? Let’s get ICE off our streets and into our beverages, man,” Bridges said of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids.

“This aggression will not stand,” he said, quoting The Dude. “Right?”

“Right,” Kimmel said.

The audience erupted, and Bridges signed off with his character’s signature refrain: “So let’s just abide.”
