A new campaign from Destination Canada, created with Pamela Anderson, reframes New Year resolutions around intention, restoration, and the kind of reset that begins with slowing down.

What are you hoping 2026 will look like? Fewer rules, more rest, maybe? Less pressure to reinvent yourself, more permission to return to what already feels true? The question sits at the center of Resolution Reset, a new campaign from Destination Canada created in partnership with Canadian icon Pamela Anderson. The giveaway is designed to gently disrupt the familiar “New Year, New You” script many of us often feel trapped inside.

Rather than pushing productivity hacks or rigid self-improvement plans, Resolution Reset invites people to name the intention behind their resolutions and imagine what that intention might look like if given more space, quiet, and time. Canada, the campaign suggests, is not a backdrop but an active participant in that reset, offering landscapes and cities that encourage presence instead of performance. Destination Canada positions the campaign as a reframing of how resolutions can feel, shifting the focus from self-optimization to restoration, reconnection, and authenticity.

The concept is intentionally simple. Scrolling less could translate into lingering over a meal in Montréal or Toronto, walking beaches or gardens on Vancouver Island, or choosing live music in Atlantic Canada over another refresh of a feed. Better sleep might mean stargazing in one of Canada’s Dark Sky Preserves, where nights are quiet enough to actually feel restorative. Moving more does not require a gym or a tracker, but instead unfolds through walking historic neighborhoods, paddling calm waters, and moving through nature at a human pace that feels sustainable rather than punishing.

Anderson brings personal credibility to the message. Canada is a place she associates with grounding and clarity rather than spectacle. “I’ve learned I don’t need a ‘new’ version of myself to feel fulfilled; the real magic comes from returning to who you are,” Anderson said in a statement. “Canada is my sanctuary. It has always been the place where I can reset, find calm, and feel grounded. I’m grateful for the chance to encourage others to discover Canada and experience their own reconnection with what’s true for them.”

The campaign also includes a tangible invitation. Americans can submit their 2026 intentions at ResolutionReset.com for a chance to win one of five custom Canadian getaways, each curated by Entrée Canada. Winners will work with the company to design an itinerary that reflects their intention, from pace to place.
