Kourtney and Travis Now Both Have Wellness Brands

Kourtney Kardashian Barker is following in her husband Travis Barker’s footsteps with the launch of Lemme, a new vitamin and supplement gummy brand.

You can call it the family business. Lemme, Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s new vegan gummy supplement brand, builds on the Poosh founder’s “decades-long” passion for health and wellness. Her husband Travis Barker’s CBD wellness line, Barker Wellness, recently launched its own collection of vegan wellness gummies.

The brand also builds on sustainability and wellness efforts elsewhere in the Kardashian-Jenner family; Kim Kardashian recently launched Skkn, her nine-step vegan and clean skincare line that replaced KKW Beauty. Half-sister Kylie Jenner reformulated her beauty range Kylie Cosmetics in 2021 to remove a number of harmful chemicals. Khloe Kardashian’s Good American earned Certified B Corp status last year for her sustainable and size-inclusive denim brand, and Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila has also been touting its sustainability efforts in Mexico.

According to a statement, Kardashian Barker has been developing the products over the last five years, working with “a team of leading scientists, MD’s and botanists” to create what she says is the “cleanest-possible” range of gummy vitamins and supplements.

The name came about almost by accident, she told People Magazine. “I couldn’t think of the right word for each scenario [in which to take a supplement], but we’d say all the time, ‘Lemme focus on this.’ Once we realized we use it so much in our vocabulary, none of us could get it out of our heads,” she said. “You know, Lemme-everything-that-I’m-doing.”

“After years of struggling to find the right supplements, I embarked on a journey to create science-backed products that you would legitimately look forward to taking everyday,” Kardashian Barker said in a statement.

“Kourtney has spent years working with a team of top scientists and specialists to create innovative formulations leveraging clinically-researched nutrients, vitamins and botanicals. She prioritized ingredients that were bioavailable and filled nutritional gaps in people’s diets,” Dr. Thais Aliabadi, a board-certified physician and member of Lemme’s Medical Advisory Board, said.

Kardashian Barker launched her multimedia platform Poosh in 2019. The platform has been focused on products and health issues, and speculations that it was rivaling Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop. The two put those rumors to rest earlier this year when they launched a co-branded candle.

Barker launched his line of CBD supplements and topical treatments in 2021 with a focus on sleep, maintenance, and recovery. The range includes tinctures, a pain relief balm, and most recently, three vegan gummies addressing the core focus categories.

Unlike Barker Wellness gummies, Lemme is CBD-free, but there are some overlaps; the Lemme Chill is labeled as a “de-stress” gummy. It features ashwagandha, passionflower, lemon balm, and goji berries. The Lemme Focus features lion’s mane mushroom, MCT oil, and vitamin B12. Lemme Matcha also features B12 along with CoQ10 and Matcha green tea. All of the products are vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO. They are made without corn syrup and palm oil and contain no synthetic colors or sweeteners.

“Matcha is probably my favorite gummy. It has B12, [so] it’s not like jittery caffeine energy. Matcha naturally has caffeine, so it’s not caffeine-free, but it’s like the tiniest bit of caffeine,” she told People. “The B12 and the coenzyme Q10 give you that sustained energy. I feel really passionate about the ingredients and the combinations.”

All of the products are packaged in bottles and caps made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled materials as are shipping mailers and boxes. The company has also partnered with Carbonfund to offset the emissions of every shipment. It has also launched with a partnership with One Tree Planted, pledging to plant thousands of trees per year to help restore forests and habitats.

Lemme will launch on September 27 exclusively on lemmelive.com.
