At Cambodia’s Jaya House River Park Hotel, an Earth Day Getaway

Cambodia’s Jaya House River Park Siem Reap, named one of the top 25 hotels in the world by Trip Advisor for the last six years and Cambodia’s top hotel, has unveiled a special Earth Day package available throughout the month of April.

The $660 Earth Month package offers guests a two-night stay at the renowned Jaya House River Park, including a morning of tree planting, a local and organic vegan dinner at the hotel’s Trorkuon Khmer restaurant, and two complimentary daily spa treatments per guest.

As a global leader in responsible travel and positive impact tourism, Jaya House River Park Siem Reap is committed to enhancing the lives of Khmers (Cambodians). It is Cambodia’s first plastic-free hotel. The Earth Day package reflects the hotel’s commitment to the planet by providing guests with an opportunity to engage in sustainable activities while enjoying a luxurious getaway.

The Earth Day Package features a tree planting morning where guests can participate in an initiative launched in 2019 by Christian de Boer, Managing Director of Jaya House River Park and UN advisor on sustainable tourism. Over the past six years, Jaya House has planted thousands of trees in Siem Reap, contributing to a greener community and encouraging fruit growth.

The vegan dinner for two takes place at Trorkuon Khmer, the hotel’s exclusive dining destination known for its focus on food equality and sustainability. All ingredients are locally and ethically sourced from suppliers who receive fair wages, ensuring a dining experience that aligns with the hotel’s values.

Guests will also enjoy two complimentary spa treatments daily, featuring Khmer botanicals from the Jaya Organics range. These treatments, including deep tissue massages and aromatherapy, support organic and locally produced practices while promoting wellness and relaxation.
