Multihyphenate mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has announced a new platform, Empower Global, aimed at elevating Black businesses across fashion, beauty, art, and more.

A new online platform, Empower Global, spearheaded by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, has been unveiled today. Exclusively dedicated to Black entrepreneurs, this immersive e-commerce experience enables consumers to find and purchase from a host of Black-owned brands, spanning categories from fashion to beauty, art, and more. In creating a space for Black businesses, the platform serves to widen their audience reach and pave the way for further growth and success.

Built with community and culture as its pillars, Empower Global aims to uplift the Black economy. Through this digital hub, the consumers’ quest to discover and shop the best Black-owned brands is simplified and made more accessible.

The launch kicks-off with more than 70 brands featured, including standout names such as Silver & Riley, Scotch Porter, Buttah Skin, and many more, boasting an impressive 1000+ items on offer. Combs’ vision is to steadily grow this platform, adding new Black businesses on a monthly basis with the ultimate aim of spotlighting over 200 brands by year-end.

“My mission has always been to empower Black entrepreneurs and create more opportunities for them to access the resources, tools and support needed to build successful businesses,” Combs said in a statement. “Empower Global will uplift Black entrepreneurs, keep dollars circulating in our community, and make buying Black a lifestyle.”

Sharing similar sentiments, Tarik Brooks, President of Combs Global, expressed his enthusiasm about the platform. “Empower Global is a transformative platform that embodies Sean Combs’ unwavering commitment to Black entrepreneurship,” he said. “On behalf of Combs Global, we are thrilled to launch this initiative… Through Empower Global, we aim to foster sustainable growth and create lasting opportunities that will leave a positive and enduring impact on the Black economy.”

To further enhance the user experience and affordability, Empower Global has joined forces with UPS. A ‘Days of Deals’ initiative will see select sellers offering discounted products alongside complimentary UPS shipping for a limited period.

The platform was brought to life by Black-owned TechSparq and ChatDesk, and is supported by a strategic partnership with Salesforce. The online marketplace technology is provided by Marketplacer, considered best-in-class in the field.

A part of the Combs Global portfolio, Empower Global’s primary goal is to revolutionize the online shopping experience while contributing to the growth of Black businesses. It serves as a testament to the commitment of Sean “Diddy” Combs to uplift Black entrepreneurs and propel the Black economy forward.
