Four Seasons and Karl Lagerfeld Define Sustainable, Luxury Living in the Middle East With New Properties in Dubai and Saudi Arabia

Two new projects from Four Seasons and Karl Lagerfeld x Taraf offer exclusive resorts and residencies that play pivotal roles in promoting sustainable tourism and luxury living in the Middle East, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Dubai’s strategic goals.

Escalating the Middle East’s prominence in the luxury real estate and hospitality sectors, Four Seasons and Taraf, under the luminous umbrella of Karl Lagerfeld’s design vision, are setting new benchmarks for luxury living and wellness tourism with new properties.

At the heart of the Middle East’s transformation is the introduction of the Four Seasons Resort and Residences at Triple Bay AMAALA by Red Sea Global (RSG), a development poised to redefine luxury wellness tourism in Saudi Arabia. This new venture will incorporate 220 accommodations, including rooms, suites, and villas with private pools, alongside 26 branded residential villas. Each element of this development is crafted to offer unparalleled bay and sea views, underscoring Four Seasons’ commitment to luxury and excellence.

“Our new Resort and Residences in AMAALA at Triple Bay will perfectly complement Four Seasons growing collection of properties within the Kingdom’s dynamic destinations, and marks our second collaboration with Red Sea Global,” Bart Carnahan, President, Global Business Development, Portfolio Management and Residential, Four Seasons, said in a statement.

Carnahan emphasized that the development further expands Four Seasons’ footprint within Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing tourism industry. John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global said AMAALA is creating a “new category of coastal lifestyle” with regeneration and wellness at its core. “With uninterrupted views of the Hijaz Cove, Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay is designed to allow guests and residents to get back to nature, recharging their mind, body, and soul.”

The resort turned to U+A to achieve the goal. Martin Dufresne, Design Principle at U+A, emphasized that nature is a key part of this resort, “as it is for the ethos of Four Seasons luxury properties around the world.” Dufresne says U+A used landscaping “unsparingly, yet very deliberately,” in order to frame the views of the bay, as well as to guide guests and residents between the different amenities and to create “feelings of calm and serenity throughout the property.”

Karl Lagerfeld x Taraf Villas

Further elevating the luxury quotient in the Middle East, Taraf, with the creative legacy of the late designer Karl Lagerfeld’s label, unveiled an exclusive villa community in Dubai. This unique collaboration marries Taraf’s innovation in luxury real estate with the iconic design aesthetic of Karl Lagerfeld, creating an environment that epitomizes elegance and sophistication. The project, inspired by Lagerfeld’s appreciation for 18th-century artistry, offers residences that blend premium materials, water features, and artistic architecture, providing a sanctuary of luxury living.

“Karl was deeply fascinated and inspired by architecture,” says Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld. “Now his passion for innovative design lives on through this incredible property in Dubai, where history and modernity converge. Celebrating this duality, homeowners and investors have an exclusive opportunity to access Karl’s unique vision of luxury living, with a new way to explore and experience his world.”

Low Ping, Group CEO of Yas Holding, Taraf’s parent company, says the venture is unprecedented and marries Taraf’s commitment to luxury and innovation with the unparalleled design prowess of Karl Lagerfeld. “We’re thrilled with this collaboration, which goes beyond creating exclusive villas. It is crafting experiences and spaces that epitomize elegance and sophistication.”

Karl Lagerfeld x Taraf, located in Meydan, Dubai, is the fourth Lagerfeld-branded residential property and the first in the Middle East, joining the Villas in Marbella, a luxury project in central Lisbon and branded residences in Melaka, Malaysia. The portfolio also includes The Karl Lagerfeld Hotel in Macau.
